Professional Background
Prior to launching her consultancy, she held the chief marketer positions for two law firms – a regional firm with offices throughout the east coast and a Boston-based firm. For each firm, Linda developed and implemented the strategic and tactical initiatives that helped define and capture its unique marketplace position. A recognized change agent, she built the requisite marketing infrastructure and service and sales culture to achieve excellence in satisfying clients, deepening relationships and winning new business.
Linda established a client satisfaction/loyalty program at Edwards & Angell LLP (now Locke Lord LLP). She conducted over 150 key client interviews and the program became a national “best practices” leader in the legal industry. For Goulston & Storrs, she orchestrated the firm’s re-positioning in the marketplace from real estate boutique to full service firm through a comprehensive, first-ever brand identity program – a brand platform that still exists today.
Before joining the legal marketing arena, Linda was Assistant Professor of Marketing at Rhode Island College and a Consultant for King Chapman Broussard & Gallagher, a national corporate outplacement organization.
Throughout the l980’s, Linda enjoyed a career in the financial services industry during the unchartered deregulation era. She started as Senior Management Trainer at Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) to Vice President, Marketing and Personnel for a Connecticut-base institution and finally assumed the role of Vice President and Division Head of Retail Services and Marketing for one of the largest community banks in Rhode Island.
Following graduate school, Linda was hired as Director of Placement and Counselor for Dean Junior College in Massachusetts. She was eventually promoted to Director, Counseling and Career Development, managing the entire psychological, career, college transfer and employment counseling function and staff. She also served on the Social Studies and Continuing Education faculties and Dormitory Director with her husband, David.

Leadership and Professional Affiliations
From 1999-2001, Linda was an elected Member-at-Large of the National Board of Directors for the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). She became the first Chair (1998-2000) of the newly created National Research Committee and maintained an active leadership role on that critical Committee for several years. Linda also served as Treasurer of the New England Chapter of LMA.
Other professional affiliations have included Association for Accounting Management, American Marketing Association, The Boston Club and various Banking, Higher Education and Training and Development organizations.

More About Linda
A Master Gardener, Linda lovingly manages an acre of perennials and annuals around her home in South County, Rhode Island. She is also perennially hopeful about improving her golf game – one of the many passions (along with yoga, writing, cooking, quohogging, body surfing, dancing to Blues on the Beach, biking, traveling and martinis at sunset) – that she savors with her husband, David. But, Mimi and Grampy will drop everything to spend time with their three beautiful grandchildren – Zoe, Lili and Raffaele.
